All of the ones I have ever used in PA and MA are like that…take cash, weigh produce.

Jean, as a rule, examining illegality before acting to enforce it will prevent ours from becoming a fascist state. That goes for civilians and police alike.

I’m not weighing in on whether Andrew was right to call the cops but he’s a bright guy and I trust he wouldn’t have just informed or ratted on some kids if he didn’t perceive real human risk or something…right, Andrew?

I don’t follow you. You said “they are illegal” as the sole justifying argument. But then you immediately clarified that just because something is illegal doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

    I really don’t understand what you’re saying.

The real live humans are there to instruct the customers in the use of the machines. Looks like they are not becoming habit with most. Good! As for Key Food, I’ve lived in this neighborhood a long time and those checkers have had some pretty nasty bosses and good reason to be surly. As for the group there now: except for one very slow and antisocial one, they are friendly and efficient.

I have no opinion on this topic either because it’s BORING. Drones are illegal. PERIOD.

The man asked for opinions on his actions, I gave him mine.
You may say “nasty” but I was just being honest.

Maggie, this has been fixed: brand-new flags flying as of yesterday. Quick turnaround. Thanks again for your help! E
