Bargemusic gets the music going early this week. Tomorrow evening (Wednesday, October 19) at 8:00 pianist Alexander Peskanov (photo) will play works by Mozart, Chopin, and Schumann. On Friday evening, October 21 at 8:00 violinist Rolf Schulte and pianist Nicolas Namoradze will perform works by Schumann, Brahms, and 3Medtner. On Saturday evening, October 22 at 8:00, and on Sunday afternoon, October 22 at 4:00 the violinist Mark Peskanov, along with members of the Manhattan Symphonie, conducted by Gregory Singer, will play works by Bach, Mendelssohn, and Beethoven. Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
