Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

It’s a repeat of last weekend and the work week following: From 11:45 PM tomorrow (Friday, August 26) to 5:00 AM Monday, August 29 there will be no service in either direction at Clark Street or at the 2/3 platforms at Borough Hall, as 2 and 3 trains will not be running to or from Brooklyn. As partial compensation for this, 5 trains, which do not normally serve Brooklyn on weekends, will be running on their normal route (via the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall) all weekend. Barring unforeseen circumstances, service at all other local stations should be normal this weekend.

There are no planned cancellations, route changes, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations during the following work week (Monday, August 29 to Friday, September 2).

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.

Presumably a file photo (unless we’ve suddenly been blessed with really effective air-conditioning in the stations, necessitating wooly hats and heavy coats).

Maybe it was a flash mob, but like the opposite of the one where everyone took off their pants on the subway.
