On Sunday, July 31 at the Pier 6 Lawns there will be a free Pier Kids event, featuring Private Picassos art and craft activities from 11:00 a.m. to noon, and a “Meet the Animals” event presented by Friends of Wildlife from noon until 1:00 p.m. More information here.
On Monday evening, August 1 at 7:00, at the Pier 1 Granite Prospect, Brooklyn Bridge park Conservancy, in partnership with Community Bookstore Park Slope, will present authors Idra Novey and Rebecca Schiff, reading from their recent works. The event is free; books will be available for purchase and signing. More information here.
