Tomorrow (Saturday, July 16) evening starting at 9:15 there will be a fireworks display. It will be launched from a barge near Liberty Island, and should be easily seen (and heard) here in Brooklyn Heights. According to the City’s fireworks site the display is sponsored by Kenneth Bronstein. A quick web search shows a Kenneth Bronstein to be (at least as of 2009) president of New York City Atheists. So, we may be seeing and hearing some big bangs for the proposition that there’s nothing behind the Big Bang.
