City Council Member Stephen Levin will hold a Brooklyn Heights Town Hall this Thursday evening, May 26, from 7:00 to 9:00, in the Second Floor Community Room at 140 Cadman Plaza West. Update: Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez and State Assembly Member Jo Anne Simon will also be there. Among the topics to be discussed are: (1) “out of control development including the latest on Brooklyn Bridge Park”; (2) “the Brooklyn Heights Library debacle”; and (3) “more people but where are the services”?
Come share your thoughts on issues facing the community, as well as propose potential solutions. There will also be an announcement on the introduction of new litter baskets to the area.
