It’s a weekend of heavy disruption. From 11:45 p.m. Friday, April 8 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 11 there will be no service in either direction at the 4/5 platforms at Borough Hall, as 4 trains will terminate and originate at Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall in Manhattan, and 5 trains do not serve Brooklyn on weekends (there will be no 5 train service anywhere on the system this weekend). During the same time period, A and C trains running in both directions will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street, so there will be no service in either direction at High Street. For service to or from Manhattan, use the 2 or 3 to or from Clark Street or Borough Hall, the R or (late night) N to or from Court Street, or the A or C to or from York Street or Jay Street-Metro Tech.
The following week, late nights between 12:15 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 12 to Friday, April 15, Brooklyn bound F trains will be diverted to the A line between West 4th Street and Jay Street/Metro Tech. To get to Brooklyn from the Lower East Side stops on the F (East Broadway, Delancey/Essex, 2nd Avenue, and Broadway/Lafayette) take an uptown F to West 4th and change to a Brooklyn bound A or F there.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
