“Rat Academy” at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church Thursday Evening

No, it’s not where rodents go to learn the “three Rs.” All local residents, businesses, and organizations are invited to a free presentation, sponsored by Community Board 2 and the NYC Department of Health, at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church, Clinton and Montague streets, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. this Thursday, March 17. At the Academy you will “receive information about combating rats, some of it counter-intuitive”.

Thanks. I didn’t include that in the post because the information I got was that to get a free trash can you had to RSVP by Monday. I presume that requirement has now been waived.

Late responders will receive their can at another time.

This program is worthwhile, there are big areas of the city and region which have chronic rodent problems. A good idea is to flush as much waste food as possible the less in the trash the less infestation of all sorts. But this program is worthwhile
