Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

“Fix & Fortify” post-Sandy repair work resumes in the A/C line’s East River tunnel this weekend. From 11:45 p.m. Friday, February 26 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, February 29, A and C trains running in both directions will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street, so there will be no service in either direction at High Street. For A/C stops in Manhattan below West 4th Street, use the 2 or 3 to or from Clark Street as an option.

The following week, each night from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., there will be no Manhattan bound service at High Street, as Manhattan bound A trains (C trains do not run to or from Brooklyn late at night) are being diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street. During these same hours and nights, there will be no Manhattan bound service at Court Street or on the R/N platform at Jay Street-Metro Tech, as Manhattan bound N trains (which replace R trains on this route late at night) are being diverted to the Q line between DeKalb Avenue and Canal Street. For service to Manhattan during these hours, use the 2 from Clark Street or Borough Hall, or the 4 from Borough Hall.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
