Theater 2020 Presents A Little Night Music Starting This Weekend; Vaudeville Revue on Tuesday the 16th

Theater 2020, Brooklyn Heights’ own, award winning professional stage company, will present Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway classic A Little Night Music over the next four weekends at the McKinney Chapel of the First Unitarian Church, 116 Pierrepont Street (corner of Monroe Place). Performances this weekend will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13, and at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14 (a nice Valentine’s Day date). The play will run on the same schedule over the following three weekends, closing on Sunday, March 6, except that there will be no performance on Friday, February 19, but one on Thursday, February 18 at 8:00 p.m. instead. Tickets are $18.00 ($19.62 with service fee), and may be purchased by credit card here or here. You may also reserve seats by e-mailing theater2020@gmail.com and paying cash at the door, thereby avoiding the service fee.

On Tuesday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m., also at First Unitarian, Theater 2020 will present Richard Stillman and Flip Peters in The Spirit of Vaudeville, “a musical variety show that celebrates the vaudevillians of the jazz age” that “won the Best Concert Award at the 2014 United Solo Theater Festival.” Theater 2020 proclaims it “great for the whole family.” There’s a video clip here. Tickets are $20 ($21.69 with service fee) if purchased by credit card here or $20 cash at the door; reserve seats by e-mailing theater2020@gmail.com and captioning your e-mail “Vaudeville”.
