Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

Post Sandy work on the A/C tunnel between Brooklyn and Manhattan continues this weekend, so from 11:45 p.m. Friday, October 30 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, November 2 there will be no service in either direction at High Street as A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-Metro Tech and West 4th Street. To get to or from Manhattan below West 4th use the 2 or 3 to or from Clark Street or Borough Hall, the 4 to or from Borough Hall, of the R or (late night) N to or from Court Street.

The following week, late nights from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, November 2 to Friday, November 6, Brooklyn bound A trains (there is no C service late at night) will be diverted to the F line between West 4th and Jay. Manhattan bound A trains will run as normal, so there will be service from High Street to Manhattan.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
