In addition to the Halloween happenings described in our earlier post, Bargemusic has a full schedule of concerts this weekend. On Friday evening, October 30 at 8:00 Inbal Segev will perform the second and final concert in her presentation of the six solo cello suites of J.S. Bach. On Saturday evening, October 31, at 8:00 there will be a special Halloween concert, featuring works by Haydn, Zorn, Schumann, William Bolcom, and Beethoven, performed by Jennifer Choi (photo) on violin, Wendy Sutter on cello, and Olga Vinokur on piano. On Sunday afternoon, November 1 at 4:00 pianist Michelle Kim, cellist Wendy Sutter, and pianist William Wolfram will play works by Handel-Halvorsen, Brahms, and Dvorak. Saturday afternoon at 4:00 there will be a free, family oriented “Music in Motion” concert, co-sponsored by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Doors open at 3:45; first come, first seated.
