Tenth Annual Brooklyn Book Festival This Sunday

The tenth annual Brooklyn Book Festival will be on Sunday, September 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m at Borough Hall and in Columbus Park (immediately north of Borough Hall). There will be readings by and discussions with writers, and books for sale. There’s more information here. There will also be a special Children’s Day before the main festival, on Saturday, September 19.

During the coming week and the Monday following the Festival there will be “Bookend” events held in various venues around the Borough and in Manhattan. A full schedule is here.

    This has to be the best festival day in Brooklyn every year. The writers and panels are amazing, the crowd is lively but polite, and they don’t close any streets!
