Update: the Eagle reports that there’s a fundraiser to cover the baby’s funeral and other expenses. CBS Local reports that three month old Karl Tondrow of Brooklyn Heights died at a day care center in SOHO yesterday. He was said to have been put down for a nap, and was later found not to be responsive. The day care’s owner called 911, and day care staff and EMTs both tried to resuscitate the baby. No signs of trauma were found, and no charges have been made.
