Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This weekend (Friday evening, May 29 to Monday morning, June 1) there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips that will directly affect service at any local stations. If you’re traveling into Brooklyn and back, say to Prospect Park, the Botanic Garden, or the Brooklyn Museum, you should know that Manhattan bound 2,3, and 4 trains will be skipping the Eastern Parkway, Grand Army Plaza, and Bergen Street stations. To get back to Brooklyn Heights from these stations, you’ll need to take a Brooklyn bound train to Franklin Avenue and catch a Manhattan bound train there. This will continue during late night hours (11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) the following week, Monday, June 1 to Friday, June 5.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
