Once again there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips directly affecting service at any local stations this weekend (Friday evening, May 1 to Monday morning, May 4). C train service will be reduced to about once every fifteen minutes (“Not unusual,” you might say.) Those traveling into Brooklyn should know that 3 trains will end their run at Franklin Avenue. 4 trains will provide alternate service from there to New Lots Avenue, and shuttle buses will run between New Lots and Utica Avenue.
Late nights (11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) the following week (Monday, May 4 to Friday, May 8) Brooklyn bound A trains will be diverted to the F line between West 4th Street and Jay Street-Metro Tech. This means no service from Manhattan to High Street. During these hours use the 2 or 3 to Clark Street as an option.
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
