Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

Once again there are no planned disruptions directly and seriously affecting service at any local stations this (Friday evening, April 24 to Monday morning, April 27) weekend. C trains will be running on a reduced schedule; approximately once every fifteen minutes. Late nights (11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) the following week (Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1) N trains, which usually replace the R for service to and from Court Street and Jay Street-Metro Tech during those hours, are being re-routed over the Manhattan Bridge between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue, but at the same times Q trains are being re-routed over the R/N line. So, if you want to get to Court or Jay Street during these hours, take the Q, not the N.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
