Early Bird Alert: Architecture Afloat

This Friday, March 13, at 7:00am, architect Robert Venturi’s Lieb House will sail past the Heights on the deck of a barge, headed up the East River toward its new location at Glen Cove, Long Island. The photo above shows it being carried by road from its original location at Barnegat, New Jersey to the waterside to be loaded on the barge. More details are here.
