Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

There are no planned route diversions, cancellations, or station skips directly affecting service at local stations New Year’s Day and through the following Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (January 1 through 4) (though because of crowded trains over the holiday weekend, be prepared for lots of service delaying “incidents”). The following week (Monday, January 5 to Friday, January 9) each night from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Manhattan bound A trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street/Metro Tech and West 4th Street. This means no Manhattan bound service at High Street (the C doesn’t run late at night), though it will be available at York Street in DUMBO. Those going to destinations in Manhattan below West 4th should use the 2, 3, 4, or N (which replaces the R late at night) as options.

For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender. Also check MTA Info for unplanned problems that may affect service.
