I hope that the worker is okay, and that the business is unaffected.

I much prefer this place to La Bagel Delight on Court Street. Hot Bagels is a bit disorganized, but the bagels are good. And I have received mildewed bagels or cream cheese (I’m not sure which one it was) on two occasions at La Bagel Delight.

Both of ’em stink imo. This place went downhill years ago. Best bagels in the area are Bagel Cafe on Clinton and Atlantic, but they’re expensive. New place Pio Bagel on Willoughby and Lawrence is pretty good.

    Hope worker is ok.

Hot Bagels has been terrible for years, they run out of bagels by noon on the weekend…all they had left the last time i went was bran and cinamon raisin. They also had a C rating for a very long time.

I know its not in the hood..but best bagels by far is Fairway.

Actually, best bagels are at Shelsky’s on Court St. Not cheap, but imported all the way from Mill Basin, NY. I keep telling those guys at Hot Bagels that they’ve gotta clean out the toaster (and sweep up all the crap on the floor), but they never listen — and the rats don’t seem to get up that high…
