Shoppers’ Alert: Brooklyn Women’s Exchange Re-Opens Tomorrow; Underground Thrift Store Sunday

The Brooklyn Women’s Exchange (photo above), 55 Pierrepont Street (between Hicks and Henry) re-opens from its annual summer closure tomorrow (Saturday, September 6) and will be celebrating its 160th anniversary this year. Store hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, closed Monday, and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

On Sunday, Plymouth Church’s Underground Thrift Store (photo above), located upstairs at the Church, re-opens, and will be open every Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A portion of the store’s net proceeds will benefit ECPAT-USA, a Brooklyn based organization with a mission “to end slavery at the source.”
