Happy 8th Birthday BHB

Eight years ago today at 4:13pm, we thought it would be a good idea to start a blog about Brooklyn Heights.

In that time we’ve made many new friends, learned an enormous amount about the history of the area (so much we started a walking tour) and so much more.

    I’ve only been a BK Heights resident for 2 years, but already feel a better steward of the neighborhood because of the awareness BHB brings to activities, the currents events & issues that impact us, and openings / closings of local businesses.

    Off topic…anyone know what the helicopter search was for last night? It went on for over an hour…so loud…floodlight, helicopter within a few feet of my window circling the neighborhood and lower nyc. If anyone knows anything please share!

    I love the blog, I live full time in Ft Lauderdale but have a place in Brooklyn Heights. I really enjoy reading this blog often to know what is going on in the neighborhood and I have to say I enjoy all of Karl’s video. It is almost as good as being up there, well that is a small lie I wish always I was up there
