BHB contributor/filmmaker Heather Quinlan was a guest on the CBS 2 morning show on Sunday to discuss her planned documentary on the ’86 New York Mets. But did we detect a hidden message to your humble publisher in her on-air banter?
CBS 2: “Aside from being a Met fan and a filmmaker, it’s a larger-than-life story, larger-than-life characters, epic battles, especially in the postseason,” Quinlan told CBS 2’s Andrea Grymes. “Homer could’ve written this himself back in like the ancient Greek time.”
Quinlan says that contributions to her Kickstarter campaign for the film spiked yesterday after the appearance.
