Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

From 11:45 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, July 11) to 5:00 a.m. Monday, July 14 Manhattan bound A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay Street-MetroTech and West 4th Street. This means no Manhattan bound service at High Street. To get to West 4th or stops above there in Manhattan, walk down the hill to the York Street stop in DUMBO, or over to Jay Street. To get to stops in Manhattan below West 4th, take the 2 or 3 from Clark Street or Borough Hall. The following week, from 11:45 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each night Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18, Brooklyn bound A trains will be diverted to the F line between West 4th and Jay. This means no service from Manhattan to High Street, as the C train doesn’t run late at night. You can get off at York Street in DUMBO and climb the hill, or ride to Jay and catch a Manhattan bound A back to High from there.

Apart from these, there are no planned cancellations, route diversions, or station skips that will directly affect service at any local stations this weekend or the following week (I stressed “planned” because, as you know if you tried to catch the 2 or 3 at Clark Street this morning, the unplanned sometimes happens). For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
