Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 7 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, March 10, Brooklyn bound F trains will run on the A/C line from West 4th Street in Manhattan to Jay Street-MetroTech in Brooklyn, so there will be no direct service from Manhattan to York Street in DUMBO. Those traveling from Manhattan to DUMBO may use the High Street station on the A/C line or ride to Jay Street and change there for a Manhattan bound F to York Street. Those traveling from the Lower East Side stops on the F–East Broadway, Delancey, 2nd Avenue, or Broadway-Lafayette–should take an uptown F to West 4th and change there for a Brooklyn bound A, C. or F train. From Broadway-Lafayette you also can take a downtown 6 local (Brodway-Lafayette station connects to the Bleecker Street station on the 6 line) to Brooklyn Bridge and change there for a Brooklyn bound 4 train to Borough Hall. Also, 3 trains will not be running this weekend, but 2 trains will, so there will be service at Clark Street and at the Borough Hall 2/3 platforms. There are no other planned changes directly affecting service at any local stations.

The following week there are no planned changes directly affecting service at local stations, apart from there being no 3 trains running–although 2 trains will be–between 11:45 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Monday to Friday. For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, either during the weekend or the following week, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
