Last weekend, Brooklyn bound A and C trains were being diverted to the F line between West 4th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street-MetroTech here in Brooklyn. This weekend, it’s the reverse. From 11:45 p.m. Friday, January 24 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, Manhattan bound A and C trains will be diverted to the F line between Jay street and West 4th. This means no Manhattan bound service at High Street. North Heights residents going to A or C train stops at or above West 4th can either walk down the hill to the York Street station in DUMBO and catch an A or C there, or take a Brooklyn bound A or C fro High Street to Jay Street and change to a Manhattan bound A or C there. Those going to A or C stops in lower Manhattan shoufld take the 2 or 3 from Clark Street to a nearby stop.
The following week , there will be late night complications for those traveling into or from interior Brooklyn to Brooklyn Heights. From 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, January 27 to Friday, January 31, there will be no 3 trqin service in either direction, although the 2 will be running, so there will be service in both directions at Clark Street and at the 2/3 platform at Borough Hall. However, 2 and 4 trains will be running express between Atlantic Terminal/Barclays Center and Franklin avenue, so there will be no service in either direction at Bergen Street, Grand Army Plaza, and Eastern Parkway. Free shuttle buses will serve these stops. Also, from 12:01 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.Tuesday to Friday, F trains will be diverted to the A line between Jay Street and Hoyt-Schermerhorn. The MTA saith: “Transfer at Hoyt-Schermerhorn to continue your trip.”
For planned service changes that may affect travel on other parts of the system, see MTA Info or The Weekender.
