Weekend Tag Sales In Brooklyn Heights – Will Lena Dunham Be Selling Her Bric-a-Brac?

Among all the other super fantastic activities happening this weekend, two tag sales (that we’ve noticed let us know if there are more!) are happening Saturday in Brooklyn Heights.

The first will be held at the Mansion House (145 Hicks Street) from 9am – 5pm. Sure our headline about the addy’s celebrity resident is linkbaity but we totally wouldn’t be surprised if she set decide to sell some of her stuff here.

The other tag sale will be at 101 Clark Street Saturday (as well as 10/5!) from 9am – 5pm.

So – what’s the greatest find you’ve made at these annual events or other tag sales in the area? Since Brooklyn flea markets are now “curated” affairs featuring “artisanal pickles” and what not, these tag sales are the last bastion of true urban treasure hunting.

    In the ’90s, a basement sale across the street yielded an 18th C. dictionary. It still smells of mouse urine, but I treasure it.

    As for the Mansion House Sale… I have visited in years past and come away happy. I fear competition, however. I could tell you what I found, but then I’d have to kill you.
