img00562

This photo from today’s Grace Church Winter Fair snapped by BHB/CHB newshound EJ shows that our own Claude Scales’ celebrity has risen to the level of that of NPR star/newsman Carl Kasell (Wait! Wait! Don’t Tell Me!).   Kasell is known for recording answering machine messages for winners on the radio game show.  The silent auction starts at 6:30pm, so there’s time to run down and bid!

So how much you go for?

How exactly did you arrive at a value of $25?

It was a complex formula involving opportunity cost measured by my normal hourly billing rate, average travel time from my residence to an unspecified location in the Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill or DUMBO, wear and tear on my vocal cords, and various other factors.
