Subway Service Alerts: Brooklyn Heights and Vicinity

This weekend, the MTA taketh away, but the MTA also giveth. From 11:45 p.m. Friday until 5:00 a.m. Monday A and C trains will be re-routed over the F line between West 4th Street in Manhattan and Jay Street-Metro Tech in Brooklyn, so there will be no service from Manhattan to High Street. Those riding from West 4th or above have the option of either getting off at York Street in DUMBO or Jay Street and walking from there, or catching a Manhattan bound A or C at Jay and riding it to High Street. Those coming from below 4th Street may use the 2, 3, 4, N, or R as options. Where the MTA giveth is that N and Q trains will be running on the R line in both directions all weekend, so there will be more service than usual at Court Street and the R/N platform at Jay Street.

The following week, just like this week, there will be no service in either direction at the 4/5 platform, Borough Hall from 11:45 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. each night, Monday to Friday. There are no planned cancellations or diversions that will affect service at any other local stations during the week.

For details of planned service changes that may affect your travel plans elsewhere on the subway system, check MTA Info.
