Tomorrow (Thursday, June 27) morning at 11:00 there will be a rally on the steps of Borough Hall. Riders Alliance gives us the following details:
Elected officials and community organizations from Brooklyn and Queens will rally on Thursday on the steps of Brooklyn Borough Hall to demand that the MTA and the City create a comprehensive plan to accommodate riders during unprecedented repair work that will close vital subway connections between Brooklyn and Manhattan and Queens, some for more than a year.
The coalition will release a letter to the MTA and the City demanding a plan to be presented in July, before the R train tunnel closes for 14 months in August. The letter is signed by 16 elected officials representing transit riders in Brooklyn.
