Don’t Shoot the Messenger: Unofficial Girls Tour

Because Lena Dunham still lives in Brooklyn Heights, we are legally obligated to cover Girls-related topics. According to Jezebel, there is now an unofficial Girls tour taking place throughout Greenpoint. Whether this stop ends with a visit to Lena Dunham’s house here though, is anyone’s guess. BTW—does Lena Dunham still live here? I haven’t ever seen her, not that that means much. Anyway, if you want to “Gawk at the exterior of an apartment building where Adam Driver’s character bench presses iron,” email

I saw her at Siggy’s last fall. Seems to be the place for celebrity sightings in Bk Hts as i’ve also seen her co-star Jemima Kirke there, as well as Tyra Banks and the girl who plays “cousin Maeby” on Arrested Development.

Never understood the appeal of that show and probably never will…

Agreed. I think the show is just an updated conception of soft porn.

Porn? I couldn’t think of a show less titillating. It think the show tries to capture a certain zeitgeist and for some it is quite successful in doing so. Not everyone’s cup of tea that is for sure.

I think this calls for a Homer Fink Girls!Girls!Girls! Tour.

After I finish “other hidden brooklyn heights” I was actually thinking of “homer fink’s stuff people were against (at first) in brooklyn heights tour”

  • Arch Stanton

Well if that indeed is the spirit of the times, I find it pretty sad for the current young generation.

    WHO CARES????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve actually seen her, along with Gemma Kirke, many times around the hood. Twice I have seen Lena in Clark’s Diner and Gemma in CVS. I think it’s great that younger “celebrities” are choosing BK Heights to reside rather than the more “hip” areas of BK.
