Brooklyn Heights Association: You May Still Comment on SUNY’s “Sustainability Plan” and its effect on LICH

The Brooklyn Heights Association has a website page devoted to the SUNY “Sustainability Plan” and its effect on Long Island College Hospital. According to the BHA, it is still possible to submit comments to SUNY on the Plan by e-mailing them to hospitalsustainabilityplan@suny.edu.     The NYS Senate Subcommittee on Higher Education has scheduled a hearing on the SUNY Downstate sustainability plan and Long Island College Hospital. The hearing will take place at 10AM on Tuesday, June 4, in the Legislative Office Building in Albany.

    To present testimony in person at the hearing regarding the community’s need for LICH to remain a full service teaching hospital, contact:

    excellent letter by the bha to suny on need to keep lich a full service hospital. would like to suggest that bha submit that same letter to the ny senate committee as written testimony for its june 4th hearing on lich’s future. see previous post details.
