    Tried location the beeping noise on Hicks between Remsen and Montague last night. On one side of the street, it sounds like it’s coming from the other, and vice versa.

    what to do? if you live anywhere close to middagh or cranberry between henry and hicks and live in a rear unit apartment, i’m sure you’ve heard the strangled cries of the dog that is left outside for hours at a time, sometimes in the middle of the night. even with our doors and windows closed and a fan on, the sounds is startling and wakes us all up (including my baby) and keeps us awake until the owner lets the dog back in. what can i do? are there any actions i can take? please advise. thanks.

    Are you suer its a dog, Tomcats make loud wailing sounds this time of year, you know, the mating thing.

    Boop, every night you hear the yowling, dye the dog a different color until the owners “get the message”.
    This *will* work.

    Exciting things happening on College Place today! Trees being planted and shrubs as well. A new fence is coming soon! All this is because of the generosity of my neighbors who FINALLY convinced the co-op board of 145 Hicks St that this needed to be done! My neighbors are paying for everything!!
    Now it will be even more of one of the “best blocks” to live on if dog owners would respect our property and not have their animals pee and poop in front of our homes! They also drop plastic bags of poop in our personal garbage cans! Lovely on a hot day! The garbage collectors don’t like dealing with it either! Thank you! :-D
