This coming Sunday, May 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Community Access and the New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, Inc. will present a Mental Health Film Festival at St. Francis College, 182 Remsen Street (between Clinton and Court). Films to be shown include Rethink BPD, a documentary about Amanda Wang (photo), a graphic designer and amateur boxer living with borderline personality disorder, and Stephen Fry: The Secret Life of a Manic Depressive, an award winning documentary about the British actor’s experience with “the remarkable highs and lows of manic depression,” including conversations with others affected by it, such as Carrie Fisher and Richard Dreyfuss.
