The pear trees have blossomed along Montague Street, providing Brooklyn Heights’ primary business boulevard with a beautiful, vivid canopy of luxurious white. Lovely in the springtime. (CT)

    The pear trees are beautiful this time of year, but, because they’re so fragile, they also sustained the greatest damage during hurricane Sandy, There are broken pear trees all over the Heights.

    The callendar pear trees on Pineapple are also in fine form this year, and sustained no damage from Sandy, even though they’re in the St. George/Towers wind tunnel.
