We stumbled across this clip from You Tube user “Mertsface” featuring him and two friends walking along the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. The self described “18 year old human creating a world of his own whimsy” has a style that we can best describe as Mo Rocca meets Karl Junkersfeld while watching Wes Anderson movies. In his first clip, Mert tells us, “I’m not the most confident person but I’ve always wanted to make You Tube videos.”
In a world where millennials, hipsters and other doofuses might drive us all mad, Mert is a breath of fresh air.
