Subway Service Alerts: Weekend and the Following Week

Our run of good luck continues, as there are no planned diversions or cancellations that affect service at any local stations this coming weekend. If you’re going to Manhattan on the R or (late at night) N, you should know that uptown trains will be skipping local stops between Canal and 34th streets. If you’re going to Prince, 8th, 23rd, or 28th, go to the next express stop (14th or 34th) and catch a downtown train back to the skipped station.

The following week, Monday to Friday, there will be no service in either direction at the Court Street R/N station between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. N trains will be running in Brooklyn between Jay Street/Metro Tech and 36th Street. Between 12:15 and 5:00 a.m. Tuesday to Friday, there will be no 3 trains running, but 2 trains will run, so there will be service at Clark Street and the 2/3 platform at Borough Hall.

To check service changes further afield or on lines other than those serving local stations, consult MTA Info or The Weekender.
