This may be the year of the War on Trees, but the Brooklyn Heights Association is doing its part to add more to the neighborhood by planting new ones:
Brooklyn Eagle: BHA Makes…: The trees are all different kinds; the type of tree that gets planted varies depending on the site. They are “scattered about the neighborhood,” said Janner.
Not only does the BHA plant trees, the association prunes them. It will also helps individual homeowners plant trees in their own yards.
