Subway Service Alerts: Weekend and the Following Week

All weekend, from 12:01 a.m. Saturday until 5:00 a.m. Monday, there will be no service from Manhattan on the R/N lines at Court Street or Jay Street-Metro Tech. Service to Manhattan will be running normally, barring any unforeseen mishaps. For service from Manhattan, use the 2, 3, 4, A, C, or F. All of these trains will be running normally (again barring unforeseen events) in both directions. All in all, not a bad weekend, subway-wise.

The following week, once again there will be no late night service on the 4 train (the 5 never runs to Brooklyn late at night) in either direction at Borough Hall. This will be in effect from 10:00 p.m to 5:00 a.m. Monday to Friday. Again the 2 and 3 trains, which stop at Clark Street and Borough Hall, will be running in both directions, and the 3 will have its route extended to New Lots Avenue for the convenience of those traveling into Brooklyn. For those returning from Manhattan late next week, you have your choice of the 2, 3, A, C, F, R (or after 11:00 or so, N).
