Brooklyn Resident Tracy K. Smith Wins Pulitzer Prize For Poetry

If there were any doubt that Brooklyn remains a hotbed for breeding artistic talent, a resident of Heights-adjacent neighborhood Boerum Hill has won the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for poetry. Tracy K. Smith was awarded the medal for her collection “Life on Mars.” Read the story on Cobble Hill Blog here.
