Transit Museum Hosts “Missed Connections” Party for Valentine’s Evening; Extended Hours and Special Programs for School Break

On this Tuesday evening, February 14–Valentine’s evening–the New York City Transit Museum, located in a no-longer-active subway station with its entrance at Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street, will host a party based on Craigslist “missed connections” posts. The Museum will also be extending its hours to 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the New York City schools’ mid-winter break, Tuesday, February 21 through Friday, February 24. During this time, the Museum will present special programs for kids and parents or caregivers: “Subway Storytelling” at 11:00 a.m. and “Create a City” at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children.
