So go down to the ice cream shop on the pier. I think they fulfill all your requirements. (Not sure that the price is lower, tho’.)

Watch a 10,000 sq. foot green roof being installed on the new Visitors’ Center at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, in a 2-minute time lapse video, here:

Also, Bjork isn’t the only famous singer living in BH. Lucy Roche also lives here, much less obviously, in an apartment originally acquired by Loudon Wainwright III.

    David,
The Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory is my favorite place to get two scoops of vanilla chocolate chunk!

leave the celebs in our midst alone, it is so uncool to bother them and their privacy.

    hicks st guy,
I don’t understand your comment. Did I miss something?
Who on this board has said anything about bothering the celebrities? People are merely commenting.

EHinBH agree on HD on Montague st. We got a gift certificate for son’s bday that he didn’t want honor. He looked so pissed off that we wanted to pay for it with gift certificate rather “real money”. Vowed never to patronize the place again. Customer service is a joke.

Anyone know what the square footage cost is on 20 henry? I know it isn’t published yet but thought I’d ask for any inside scoop. We need a 3 bdrm.

Just kidding but these numbers may not be too far off.

I’m dying to know if anyone out there has a good Bk Hts deli recommendation that they can swear by? So far the best I’ve found is Kaffe on Remsen; a lot of the delis seem to only cater to the lunch crowd, but I’m sorry, sometimes you need a turkey sandwich at night.

    Others worth checking out?

Paul: finding a deli that’s open past early evening is a tall order in this part of town … especially where I live in the north Heights! Have you tried Heights Deli on the corner of Henry & State? I think they’re pretty good but still not open very late. Also good is Han’s Market on Clark Street right by the 2/3 subway station. Plymouth Deli on Henry & Pineapple is also good, but they’re closed at 6PM every day & all day Sunday. Hint: to me, the deal-breaker on a sandwich is mediocre bread! I suggest you try any deli that gets their rolls & hero bread from Caputo’s on Court Street; I think they’re the best breadmakers in all of western Brooklyn.

I’m interested to hear what others have to suggest, too. Deli is my favorite cuisine! Thanks for bringing it up.

Thanks Karl. Essentially 1K per square feet. That was kind of my prediction. The sales office said they would reveal the prices in a few weeks.
