New Neighbor: ModuleR

ModuleR ( @module_r ), a “customizable design” company, has opened at new store at 141 Atlantic Avenue.

Heather Quinlan profiled owner Donald Rattner for BHB last year.

Anyone check it out this weekend?

I think the store is permanent, and not a “pop-up”. Also, f**k me for writing this comment. I hate myself, this is what Brooklyn has become in 2011, pop-up stores.

I was in ModuleR on Friday. The store has a lot of fun, unique items for the home, accessories, toys, etc. Kind of an eclectic mix. Lots of European-designed toys (non-digital) just in time for the holidays.

    Not a pop-up. It’s permanent.

Very attractive merchandise ranging from cooking and serving products to wall mounted shelving. It has an attentive staff and I will return to purchase a free standing storage unit for my hallway.

Excellent Scandinavian design store, with lots of stuff for inquisitive kids and adults, and innovative stuff that I’d buy if I had the money or the space.
