Deputy Inspector Mark DiPaolo, the 84th Precinct Commanding Officer, has invited everyone to participate in the 28th Annual National Night Out Against Crime ceremonies scheduled for Tuesday, August 2nd, starting at 5:00 p.m., on the plaza by Borough Hall. The event will feature free refreshments, a cookout, ice cream, and more, including free police bicycle registration. The Gowanus Wildcats Drill Team, 84th Precinct Explorer Scouts, and the NYPD Auxiliary Band will perform, and precinct officers and local elected officials will be present. Any organization interested in being a sponsor should contact Leslie Lewis, 84th Precinct Community Council President, at (718) 802-3857.
