Brooklyn-bound A and C trains will be re-routed over the F line from West 4th Street in Manhattan to Jay Street/Metro Tech., so there will be no service from Manhattan to the High Street station. North Heights residents coming back from Manhattan may take the A, C, or F to Jay Street and change there to an A, C, or F (Manhattan bound F trains are re-routed over the A/C line from Jay Street to West 4th) back to High Street, or use the 2 or 3 (both of which run normally this weekend) to Clark Street as an option. Those travelling to the Lower East Side may take an A, C, or F to West 4th, and change there for a Brooklyn-bound A, C, or F to Broadway-Lafayette, 2nd Avenue, Delancey Street, or East Broadway. To get to Manhattan from York Street, take any Brooklyn-bound train to Jay Street and change for a Manhattan-bound train there. These diversions are in effect all weekend, from midnight Friday, June 17 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, June 20. In Manhattan, uptown C trains will run express from 59th to 125th Street, skipping 72nd, 81st, 86th, 96th, 103rd, 110th and 116th Streets, during its normal running hours of 6:30 a.m. to midnight, Saturday and Sunday. Since the A runs express during these hours, there will be no service to these stations coming from Brooklyn during this time. Travelers to the Upper West Side may be best taking the 2, 3, or 1 local to a nearby station on Broadway. However, the uptown A will evidently be making stops at these stations from midnight to 6:30, as it normally does.
