Adopt a Pet Sunday at Montague Piazza

Our pal Chelsea Mauldin of Montague BID sends this dispatch regarding this Sunday’s FINAL Montague Street Piazza:

A quick update regarding our upcoming — and final — Summer Space Sunday. Once again, Montague Street businesses will be offering free outdoor yoga (11 am, in front of Yoga People, 160 Montague) and free kids’ arts activities (3 pm, in front of NY Kids Club, 125 Montague).

New this Sunday, Pets Emporium (105 Montague) will be hosting a pet adoption event in partnership with In Our Hands Animal Rescue. Kittens, cats, and dogs will be available; all have been fixed and vaccinated. The pet adoption begins at noon.

    I don’t think the pet adoption guys ever showed up on Sunday.

    Was out of town this weekend, but did Piazza pick up steam on Sunday? Third time’s a charm?

    There was thunder/lightning and occasional patches of rain on Sunday – not the best weather for adopting animals (especially considering how many are scared of thunder). I’d assume that’s why the pet folks didn’t come.
