Big Crane on Cranberry Street Friday

Brian McGorry, owner of 31 Cranberry Street, posted signs today between Willow and Hick alerting neighbors that a crane will be in use Friday around the property.   On the note, he apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

    This is the site of the new building on the vacant lot of Cranberry, owned by McGorry, a BHA Governor.

    The vacant lot is no. 27. And he used to own the lot, not currently the owner. I assume the crane is for his own house, not the new one.

    Brian told me he was moving stuff from the lot, preparatory to the actual excavation/building to begin.

    I told him I lived through the renovation of the St. George Tower and 60 Pineapple Street, and wished him well. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger…
