E-Waste Event May 14

The BHA and others are sponsoring an E-Waste disposal event on May 14. Can’t wait to get rid of that answering machine from the 80s? Here’s your chance.

Do you need to get rid of some old electronic devices, but don’t want to throw them in the trash? Then bring them down to the chapel of the First Unitarian Church, 121 Pierrepont St. between Clinton St. and Monroe Place on Saturday, May 14 from 10AM to 4 PM, OR Sunday, May 15 from Noon to 2 PM.

E-recycling is the only environmentally correct way to dispose of electronic waste, and we are pleased to help spread the word about this collection day.

For more information, call (718) 624-5466.

The list includes Televisions (all types) but it also says “We are sorry that TVs will not be accepted this year.” Confusing.
