The Paping Soapbox Derby 2008 will take place Sat Aug 23 in wonderful Brooklyn Hts. NYC! The website www.papingsoapboxderby.org will be updated within the next week with details and directions. In the meantime, if you have any questions please feel free to write me. Live clean, drive fast.
Huzzah! The race, which features home made “soapbox” vehicles will once again be held on “Watchtower Hill” aka “Suicide Hill”. Last year, the race on the hill here was nixed by the Watchtower. It was held in the Bronx.
BHB publisher Homer Fink has vowed to field an entry in this year’s race with his pal Comic Book Dan at the helm.
