The 34th Annual Atlantic Antic will be held this year on October 5 from 10 AM – 6PM according to organizers. This year’s fest coincides with the New York Transit Museum’s 15th Annual Bus Festival, so dressing like Ralph Cramden would be an awesome idea. The press release promises more of the fun we’ve grown to love at the Atlantic Avenue fest including “an exciting array of foods from around the world, from baklava and funnel cake, to grilled sardines and pulled pork sandwiches, to street fair favorites like fresh lemonade, fried mozzarella, and roasted corn. Ten live musical stages offer free performances all day, featuring blues, rock, country, R&B, jazz, music for kids, and belly-dancing.”

Woohoo! The Atlantic Antic is my favorite holiday… Oh, wait, it’s not actually an official holiday? It should be. To me, it is. :)
Love Edddie Kochak the sheik!!!
The Atlantic Antic event is advertised as being open 10am to 6pm. As a local Brooklyn Artist I look foward to participating every year
But At 5pm security began to remind us all to start packing, after that the yelling to Pack Up was repeated over and over again, by 5:45 pm the event’s hired security was harrasing people at my (almost packed up) booth and bulling them to stay away . It was a bitter ending to an otherwise wonderful annual event.
